Okay…okay this probably a very… very late post from the great event that held in  1-2 August 2015  ago. What special from this event were the arts exhibition and also the vintage robot toys exhibitions. The event itself were dedicated and tributed for 80’s anime fans, who grew up with giant and super robot. Every pictures which exhibited were 90% fanarts from some of best Indonesian graphic artists, who born at 1970 and 1990.

Most of the visitors are adult fanboys (and girls) who had some great memories which famous super robot anime characters such as Chodenji Machine Voltes V, Getter Robo, Mazinger Z, Daikyu Maryuu Gaiking, Uchuu Taitei Godsigma and a lot more of ’em.

In 2 days,  I opened a booth with my student, Kevin in artists alley from the events. We just enjoying drawing beside sell some artprints there. I also brought my beloved wife to assist me at serving the customers, who wants me to make some caricatures of them with their favorite robot heroes.

The event itself not just brought our memories back, but we also met some old friends. Small event with a large number of visitors. I hope the event organizer from this event, will bring  the 2nd Super Robot Day in our town this year. Here some of my documentations  from the event….
